TB_205GTI 1 Posted December 11, 2006 Has Peugeot/Citroën ever made a XU5 engine with twin webers? I know that the Citroën BX Sport had them, but this is a 1.9 - and I'm looking for a stock Peugeot/Citroën engine with a 1.6L XU and webers. Did they ever make one like that? (perhaps in the Visa??) Hilgie 16 2 Cars Posted December 11, 2006 The Visa GTi had injection...as far as I know there were no XU5s with twincarbs. Just the single carb version. But the question is...why do you want to know?

Due to the rather strict danish MOT laws You cannot do ANYTHING to the car, but you can change the engine to another stock engine that doesn't producre more than 20% of the original engine - given PeugeotDK will accept the transplant. If there is a XU5 with webers, I can use that as a donor engine - thus making the transplant legal.
