Xu10j2cte Engine Upgrade!

Hello

i have this engine on my 306

wh have build new exhaust manifold with KKK K26/27 turbo (nice one )

and i would like to know if there is someone that know what is the maximum power that the engine can pull out without replacing piston or any other parts in the engine?

Bottom end can handle 300hp with correct fuelling.

yep...300bhp on original internal is no problem

I'm using megasquirt with 400CC injector.

does some of you really succeed to run 300bhp with reliability?

If a TU5 can handle 250Bhp an stock internals then I see no issue with the XU handling 300Bhp.

I know of at least two here in Holland who do. Tim and Martijn both running around 300bhp. One is using a TD04 from an Impreza, the other one a GT28RS.

close engine with stock internals,big turbo,exhaust manifold,engine managment,400cc injectors.

do i need to replace other parts to improved parts to run with this bhp?

like intake manifold?

Intake manifold can be left standard.

That's a standaard 1.9 8v manifold, which wouldn't be a straight fit on the 2.0 8v turbo head,

maybe with some modification it could, but i'm not sure, maybe someone else can give you an answer to that.

so if i will use GTI 1.9 intake manifold with GTI6 TB (70mm) on my xu10j2cte

i will get better performence then the original intake manifold?
