Tinted/smoked Headlights

Ive just tinted my head lights, well 1 Ive got to finish the other one tommrrow, Ive taken the glass of and painted the first part of the silver part (not the real shiny bit)

I tried it on the car and it looks as bright as the standard one, not tried it at night yet!!

 

Has anyone else tinted there headlights this way?

 

I will post some pics tommrrow if anyone is intrested

Not painted them just a small part inside so when they are on the car they look smoked

 

just looks abit diffrent

I have seen this before...one of our clubmembers did it. It looked really cool on the Sorrento Green. He did the indicators as well.

Im tyring to do the indicators as well just having a few problems getting the plastic lens off :rolleyes:

anyway, it works really well on 306's, but don't think i've seen it on a 205 yet.

:P those bits usually just fall off!

 

carefully take a sharp blade under the lens through the sealant, that should get it off, have some clear silicone ready to stick them back on/

I know my last ones I ended up throwing away because the lens fell off!! Wish I keeped them now
