Does anyone run one of these? Any ideas where I can get one from other than Longmans? Pace? Needs to be for an iron block XU.

Cheers

Paul.

It should fit as all the bases of the block's are the same and the cranks not going to hit it, Will they do a SOR?

Not sure really welshpug, I'll give them a ring today. Wasn't really thinking about it when I wrote the thread last night!

What do you mean by A SOR Miles?

Spoke to Pace and they do two different kits, one for alloy block and the other for iron. The one I need is the cheaper one which is a bonus. Really helpful blokes as well.

that is good news, but be prepared for the bad news in terms of the cost of the rest of the bits needed, speak to jon murghie, he had to spend a small fortune!

True, did he ever sell his? They will do a good price on piping and fittings as well. Im happy to pay the money, as it will protect the internals better than anything else. Compare it to the cost of a rebuild if the engine let go in a big way and it starts to make sense.

Yes he did. I'm not denying the protection they give, but it is still shocking the cost of the 'complete kit'. I'm sure jon has to spend near £2k in total. That's basically the reason when I went 8v
