whizzer71 0 Posted December 1, 2006 Where can I get leads & software etc to mod the settings on my Gti6 Ecu,Have a very slight flat spot on initial throttle clears at about 1500 rpm ,Is this a typical trait of the Gti 6 Engine with the Cat removed?,the engine is in my 205 Gti and Ive not driven any de catted 306's,Only 1 unmodded 306 Gti6 which felt pretty lazy in comparison. whizzer71 0 Posted December 2, 2006 Yeah it is VERY free revving and its way faster than any other car Ive ever had but its just got that nigly little hesitation at 1000 to 1500,my mates is the same also but his engine came out of a V plater and has the later map sensor. Just be nice to have a little tinker with it to see if I can improve the situation any,gonna get some lairy cams for it too some would like to up the fuelling a bit when I install those. Tris.
