Jer309GTi 3 Posted November 30, 2006 I'm going to change the front subrame mounts on the XS, and was wondering if the whole subrame needs to be dropped or whether you can slacken the rear bolts off a little to allow the subframe to drop enough to get the old mounts out and fit new ones. Thought I'd ask before I attempted it so as I know what kind of a job its going to be I've done a bit of searching and it seems that 309 mounts would be good to fit as they are the same size as my '91 XS mounts but are solid rather than rubber? Could someone confirm I'm right please. Thanks
Sandy 191 Posted November 30, 2006 You can swap them on the car so to speak and the part number for the 309 solid ones is 352339 each.
Jer309GTi 3 Posted November 30, 2006 Thanks Sandy Do you notice much difference when fitting the 309 mounts?
