matt205xs 0 Posted November 28, 2006 Bearing in mind that the car has been standing for approx 18months, theres a tapping coming from the back box, and a sort of gurgling sound from around the middle section? sonofsam 5 Posted November 28, 2006 Could be a number of things. Is the Exhaust backbox tapping on something? Engine mounts, Loose hangers, cracked exhaust manifold. Gurgling could possibley signify water in there?! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Wurzel 16 Posted November 29, 2006 Make sure the rear heat sheild isn't touching the exhaust anywhere. Being an exhaust though, there isn't a great deal that can be done given the expense involved.
