Jrod 7 Posted November 26, 2006 (edited) I know janspeed make a centre section (well they did but it's no longer lsited on their site) I currently have a straight through off a 1.1 but this is quite loud. Would you think the janspeed would give more horses or the straight through system? Would a 106 one fit? ax gt? Can anyone else recommend another company? Or does anyone have a janspeed one forsale? Thanks! Edited November 26, 2006 by Jrod

Ahl 4 Posted November 27, 2006 If the exhaust is anything like the GTI one, then the best one will probably be a good OE part, from someone like Arvin.
macaroni 17 1 Cars Posted November 28, 2006 I got a centre section from CSC, to go with my manifold and backbox. It is very well made with a straight through silencer that isn't too loud, just like the backbox. The only problem is, it is too short! It is about 2' shorter than the OE pipe and when I questioned CSC about this, they said yes it is supposed to be. Apparently they sell it so it can be welded to the original pipe. Very strange. I had this done at a local exhaust place at a cost of £50 and it is a very good system now, but rather a funny way of going about things.
Guest smokinslim Posted December 2, 2006 Don't know what they're like but i saw on ebay the other day, OMP group A/N center sections and back boxes. Fairly reasonably priced too, might be worth having a look.
Jrod 7 Posted December 7, 2006 Well just to update. I now have a 'peco big bore 2' centre pipe fitted, it looks the same as the original to be honest! (but the words big and bore give it an extra 10bhp. ) Cost 99p off ebay. Now what backbox....
