Where's The Best Place I Can Mount The Intercooler

hi, i'm in the middle of collecting parts for my 1.9 205 turbo conversion. just wondering wheres the best place i can mount the intercooler and whats the biggest size i can fit without havig to change the exterier look of the car?

HI and welcome to the forum:)

 

Im sure you will find lots of usefull info on this if you try out the 'search button' facility on this Forum.

 

Many people drop the radiator and fit an IC behind the grille.

 

Personally though I would of thought you will be able to find a suitable shape IC and put it in gap behind the front valance:)

ive brought a new T16 405 style charge cooler with precooling rad for that true sleeper effect and efficient cooling...

Up front.Away from were it might get heat soaked .ie~ infront of the radiator, and as low down as possible:D
