chunkymonkey 0 Posted November 22, 2006 hi all ive removed the rear wiper motor and bottle and pipe from the rear hatch.i wanted to remove the wiring yet there seems to be quite alot of wiring in the hatch.my car has central locking, i was wondering what the little box bolted to the inside of the rear hatch is and all the wiring,what can i remove? im not bothered about the rear hatch not being part of the central locking system their seems to be alot going on in there help !! cheers gaz come on miles i know your a wiring wizard!! chunkymonkey 0 Posted November 23, 2006 now thats what im talking about!!! service as usual cheers miles and of course the rear heated screen is a worry as im keeping it until further devolopments i will have another look tommorrow and see if i can make sense of anything!! ive been busy lightening the car the 5"grinder has come in useful and the dash board has been seriously savaged by the hack saw and file.it doesnt look to bad either.and i have saved loads of weight too.move over saun ive got titanium bolts now hehe Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
pug_ham 245 3 Cars Posted November 23, 2006 If you've removed the wiper motor then the relay that is screwed to the hatch & all wiring associated with it can be removed, the central locking motor should be pretty clear whats needed. The black box is the central locking motor so you'll need that & all wiring to it. Come over when you have seats fitted again, its easy to do. Graham.
