JimyFloyd 0 Posted November 22, 2006 I'm watching that, are you going to bid on it as there is no use us both pushing the price up. Doubt itll go cheap tho! Is it a straight bolt on. Wouldn't mind a bit more power as mine is gonna be turned into a track car!
Jrod 7 Posted November 23, 2006 I doubt I will actually bid on it. I know you can fit the 38dgas as macaroni has but i'm not sure what carb is actually in that auction? I'd prefer twin carbs, some maestro ones went for 200+ a week or so ago. Do they bolt straight on or do you need to modify the manifold?
macaroni 17 1 Cars Posted November 23, 2006 Ha, I'm watching that too. It isn't a DGAS, maybe a 32/36 DGAV?

Do they bolt straight on or do you need to modify the manifold? the mg maestro manifold needs the bolt holes drilled out and longer bolts put into the head on the top, the ports line up ok but do need a little work but for over £200 its not worth it a proper manifold will cost around 160 and carbs arnt that dear at the moment with everyone going bike carbs
t16ryan 1 Posted November 23, 2006 i got my maestro carbs for £55 with manifold, and only a couuple of mods needed, find it alot quicker and nicer to drive,
