Guest Andy5 Posted November 21, 2006 Hi, Wonder if anyone can help. There are similar posts already but non seem to answer my specific question regarding coolant supply to and from the T25 turbo in the TT conversion. I'm currently installing a 'new' 1.9ish engine (83.5mm forged BDA pistons, steel rods, worked head, hybrid T25 on TT manifold running Emerald management ) in to a previously unmodified, 12000 mile from new 1.6Gti. Sorted just about everything else apart from the above subject. I assume the TT layout worked?and if so could anyone point me in the direction of the layout used. i.e where is the water supply taken from and where does it re-enter the coolant system after the turbo and how was it fabricated, pipe diameters etc If the TT system wasn't that great any idea's on how to do it better? Thanks, Andy
TEKNOPUG 3 Posted November 21, 2006 It comes from the water pipes that enter the bulkhead, above the turbo. I'll have a look tomorrow and tell you where it rejoins.
Guest rick03054 Posted November 22, 2006 The top hose for the matrix from the water distribution block, with the bleed screw, is cut and the turbo goes between the two ends.

Ryan 99 Posted November 22, 2006 TBH it doesn't really matter, just connect to whichever water pipes are easiest/nearest.
pdd144c 0 Posted November 22, 2006 They are the nearest, hence why they are used!!
Ryan 99 Posted November 22, 2006 (edited) Yes, I was being a spaz and thinking the turbo was round at the side. Edited November 22, 2006 by Ryan
