mak 0 Posted November 19, 2006 'Where to put my gauges?' seems to be a common question, and people have come up with some pretty funky solutions. Mine was to try and make a better use of the coin tray, putting the gauges nicely in the line of sight for the driver and not having to loose or repleace any of the other controls/luxuries (such as air vents or radio). The gauges are connected to a spare insturment panel lighting resistor, the one under the steering wheel, so that I can turn their lights down to stop them reflecting of off the windsreen. Not the easiest place to wire them in, but I'm pleased with the result. Gauges 1 Gauges
sonofsam 5 Posted November 19, 2006 NIce! I have a similar set-up with those swivel pods under my steering wheel on the centre console.

miamistu 1 Posted November 20, 2006 Anyone tried pillar pods for the gauges?
mak 0 Posted November 20, 2006 This was one of the solutions I was looking at. From inside the car they look good, but from outside they are butt ugly! The pods are huge and stick out a mile looking at the car from the front, hence why I went for the harder option.

cybernck 402 1 Cars Posted November 21, 2006 mak> then, sir, you don't read system updates and news . http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?showtopic=64787
mak 0 Posted November 21, 2006 And you cybernck old boy, have not updated the rules Posting pics: - users with "Pitcrew" and above user levels are able to upload pics, while others have to host them on their own hosting space or some of the free pic hosting sites - if the image is greater than 800x600 pixels, put up just a link, without IMG tags - the same goes for pics that are bigger than 120k in filesize
