Jonmurgie 2 Posted November 6, 2006 Easiest and cheapest way there it to just weld up the standard diff... they do it a lot for drift cars Why you'd want to do that though... I don't know

pug_ham 245 3 Cars Posted November 6, 2006 - when asking questions or making replies, make full use of vocabulary and grammar, which means that "txt spk" and "CAPS LOCK" (aka shouting) will not be tolerated. Also, only english language is allowed for use in public conversations Graham.
rogerrally 0 Posted November 6, 2006 "wouldn't 100% lock understeer on a FWD ?" Undrivable, unless you learn to left foot brake, or use the handbrake every time you come up to a bend. Great fun on a grass field though!
adriches 0 Posted November 7, 2006 How would an LSD cope? Some dont work when a wheel is off the ground?
Anthony 1,003 Posted November 7, 2006 How would an LSD cope? Some dont work when a wheel is off the ground? ATB type diffs (eg Quaife) won't work when you've a wheel in the air, but plate diffs (eg Trans-X) should be fine and provide some drive to both wheels regardless. Butler 0 Posted November 7, 2006 Weld the diff. Or get a plate diff with a high a % of lock, or ramp angle or whatever it's called.
