saveloy 8 Posted November 2, 2006 Quite simply what fits? Can I use a steel rim, atleast? It's for a 306 Meridian.
Jonmurgie 2 Posted November 2, 2006 How do you mean? What other pug wheels fit a 306? Pretty much any of the pugs from the same era... 205/209/306 etc. Are you after a set of something then as I have some from my DTurbo I've got to shift
saveloy 8 Posted November 2, 2006 Some arse wipe stole my mum's spare. She has S16 alloys. I have tried a set of 1.9 rims, but she will need to use 1.9 bolts too. Which is not ideal. Can I use a set of steel 306 rims? If not, which rim will fit with the standard bolts?
welshpug 1,675 Posted November 2, 2006 S16 bolts are the same as the 1.9 Speedline bolts, as are the Harrier Bolts, and the 1.6 gti bolts, as are Mi16 Bolts, you get the picture! I belive, though I'm not 100% that all pug alloys use the flat faced wheelbolt. Steelies use a tapered bolt, so nope, it wont fit with your current wheelbolts. saveloy 8 Posted November 2, 2006 Well..... The bolts on my mum's 306 are not the same as my 1.9 bolts. The chamfer is wider. So, I cannot use the 1.9 rim and S16 bolt. I could simply use the 1.9 bolts, but that would be too much for my dear mum. Thieving scum s*ite.
Banjo 1 Posted November 2, 2006 The spare on my 306 has little welded on spacers so you can use the alloy wheel bolts and they wont be too long, maybe find one of them in the scrappy? Ben

jackherer 543 Posted November 3, 2006 I've probably got some steel spares from citroens that use the 60 degree bolts in the garage, you can have one if you want?
saveloy 8 Posted November 4, 2006 The chamfer on the 306 bolts is wider. Basically, the holes in the 306 rim are a tad wider than those on the 205 rim. For the time being, I will use a 1.9 alloy as the spare and keep 4 205 bolts handy.
