Hilgie 16 2 Cars Posted October 31, 2006 That is a pull type clutch and what is stuck on the clutch cover is the clutch release bearing...can be a bit of a pig to get the box on. The fork on the arm has to pull on that bearing.
Richie-Van-GTi 73 2 Cars Posted October 31, 2006 (edited) you have to remove the arm off the clutch lever by popping the pin out, this will allow the lever to spin 90 degrees so you can then slide the box on and twist it back in behind the thrust bearing. I had a TD and the clutches are a bit turd TBH, I switched the clutch arm to standard be3 type, got a push type be3 cable and used an MI clutch. They cost about half the TD clutch and its much nicer to use. Just a random ideas for you Edited October 31, 2006 by Richie-Van-GTi
