changing from ph1 to ph2 is a real ball ache- and seemingly devalues the car anyway (I was daft enough to do this to an early (D plate) CTI a couple years ago). As far as I know, only the very last 1.9 ctis had different front door panels to the rest of the run- ph1 + 1.5 are the same. Rear cards are not interchangeable with non convertible models, anyway, so always look mismatched when used with ph1.5 door cards (IMO) because the red line doesn't line up between the 2. Bonnet release is in the ph1 position on the cti (all phases) so the lower dash needs modification to clear the glovebox/bonnet release too, as well as all the switch wiring being different, too. a good ph1 will soon be v.rare as the rhd cti ph1 was only produced for a few months, so if its a sound dash I'd keep it!

Phase 2.5 style interior. Only some of the 1.9 CTI's had a grey carpet. Full door cards don't really look right either.

I would keep it phase 1

And also some late models XSs too I think (the ones with the single-point injection instead of the carbs)

if your fancy a blue interioir iirc frequent flyer was breaking a 205 with a blue carpet in and looked very tidy, it was a while ago and was not for a cti but might be useful none the less

carpets from non-cabrios won't fit, due to extra strenghtening on sills and around the rear seat area- also cabrios don't have covers over the interior front arches- so this is carpeted (hardtops carpets end at bottom of door level.)

I believe you can form any hessian backed carpet using steam, so potentially you could choose and fit anything! don't fancy it myself, though
