Longer Caliper Bolts

for 306 td brakes, i had to space them across 5mm so there only in about 5mm worth of thread.

just been to my local nut and bolt nutter and he couldnt find them and there no a common size?

any ideas??

Get a set made up from a local bolt specialist, should only cost about £15-20 in hight grade steel.

A decent machine shop might be able to turn you some up on a lathe.

There,s a nut and bolt nutter on the Sheepbridge trading estate in Chesterfield,i would try finding the thread size first then ring round.

Standard bolts are M12x1.5 thread, 80mm long.

 

They are also high-tensile for safety reasons. 10.9-grade iirc, possibly higher.
