sonofsam 5 Posted October 23, 2006 HhhmM .Boost solenoid has started playing up giving spouts of unlimited boost had a bit of a quick read up and found : It is possible a solenoid or stepper motor could get stuck in a position that lets no boost pressure reach the wastegate, causing boost to quickly rise out of control. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boost_controller Control being the operative word there!
