Mystery Rattle Thats Drivin Me Nuts...

hello, i know this is a bit vague but recently my little 205 has managed to develop a really annoying rattle that sounds like the exhaust is hitting something but have had this off and refitted with no luck.

 

The noise happens when i lift off or when on part throttle and its drivin me mad. Only thing i could see is that the downpipe is about 1 cm away from the bar that goes accross the back off the sub frame and i have seen these moved but when i lift off the engine would move away from this so surely cant be this???

 

please help if you have any ideas as what this could be???

My centre box hits the chassis in reverse and with aggressive gear changing, this is all with Group N engine mounts.

 

I spent ages stopping it hitting all the time - this was the best compromise.

 

Maniflow 4-2-1 manifold + Magnex centre and tail.
