Jonmurgie 2 Posted October 23, 2006 If your running the injection system them make sure you get pipe rated for the correct pressure... there is cheaper pipe out there but that's as it's for low pressure carb use, seen a few people get caught out by that! As for where to get it, depends on what you want to use really, and how much of it you want. I used braided stuff and it was about £6ish a foot... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

m.i-man 0 Posted October 24, 2006 I'm going to use 8mm Copper. You can buy something like 10m for 25 quid from B&Q, or there are places online I found that can supply it also. Not sure on price comparisson though. You can bend the pipe either with a brake pipe bender (or microbore bender) around the £10 mark, or B&Q sell the metal sleeve type bender for a few quid.. this slides on the pipe and is adaquate, nut can be a pain to get off of the pipe if you have a bend of 60* plus!!! You can buy solder fittings, not really recommended to put a flame to the pipe if you have connected it to the fuel tank though! The pipe wont rust, and afaik the fuel wont cause to much problem for it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
