Guest simran Posted October 19, 2006 IS the round after market K&N filter suppsoed to come with larger jets? has any oneelse tried running this filter without using the larger jets? what effects did it have as my crab wont run properly. Im upgrading to an XScarb on my XR and i think the engine is either getting too much air or the second venturi isnt getting enough fuel because the main jet is blocked. macaroni 17 1 Cars Posted December 2, 2006 To be honest, when I stuck sme larger jets in my Solex carb it didn't use much more fuel and was much more responsive. However...I take issue with your statement, almost all n/a petrol engines have to use more fuel to gain more power. I have bid on one of your games and whats with all the Cliff Richard sh!t??
