migti 0 Posted October 17, 2006 hi all was tidying up a few things under bonnet and noticed a problem undetected There is a black wire with runs into the kms lambda controler i am unsure of its operation The wire seems to have overheat and melted the insulation Anyone any ideas as the car still runs ok Thanks all
smckeown 1 Posted October 17, 2006 i'd assume that feeds the values from the lambda sensor in your manifold to the controller. Where does it come from to be sure ?
crogthomas 0 Posted October 18, 2006 If you let us know how many wires come out of the Lambda sensor and what colour they are, we can tell you what the black one is for. Its usually either ground or signal, but it does depend on the make.
