No Spark

Hi, can anyone help with this problem? I am not getting a spark from the main HT lead, off the ignition coil, when i turn the engine over!

Have tried replacing the ignition coil, ignition module and main HT lead, but only with second hand parts.

Could the ECU be at fault?

What is the test sequence?

Many Thanks

i wouldn't have thought the ecu would cause this (although not 100% sure)

i've got the same problem, i recon it's the hall sender function in the distributer that sends a signal to the coil to fire. there's a wire that goes from the distributer to the ignition module for this function check that.

Are you getting power to the coil?

ECU pin 1 goes to the coil plug (pin 2) & should give 11-14v with ignition on & 5v/2ms at idle.

Graham.
