madaxgt 0 Posted October 9, 2006 Are they all the same for all XU engines? as in does a 1.6 fit a 1.9 and does a non power steering fit a power steering car. I cant tell as dont have two next to each other to compare. Basically just need to know if a non-power steering 1.9 alternator will fit one with power steering? obviously belts are different. Ryan 99 Posted October 9, 2006 They are interchangable bewteen all the alloy block XU engines. The difference between PAS and non-PAS models is the mounting bracket on the engine itself, which you don't need to worry about if you're just swapping alternators.
