Adnic69 0 Posted October 7, 2006 I have got Alcon calipers fitted and new pads. On applying the breakes I get a judder through the steering wheel. On inspection you can see that the pad is not being held tight in place by the retaining clip. On further inspection you can see the over the years the movement of the pad has worn away the mouting point of the caliper and thus it sits further in and thus has the ability to move.
