daz205 1 Posted October 5, 2006 ok so i`m stripping the interior of my pug more now cause its not my day car( but still a road car ish) but i need some advice, doors are stripped but windows do i replace with polycarb and remove winders etc or just leave alone ? door handles keep coming off with no door trim how do i fix this and make it a little prettier? rear windows change to polycarb any reason not to? sunroof change to polycarb ? would it still work ok or plate and paint? i have 2 worn cobra imolas how do i fit these as they are narrower than standard i have the ally cobra side mounts for them? dash anyone removed and replaced with a custom dash gauges etc advice? old disused wiring is it worth removing car is now on carbs? all help and pics appreiciated cheers Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
boldy205 75 Posted October 6, 2006 poly carb windows mean you will loose rear window de-mister. maybe good for fair weather/track days only? disused wiring has been discussed before on here, if its only injection wiring then maybe not a lot of weight but to go through the whole car may make a worthwhile differance. if poss a welded in pannel would be good for stiffness rather than a poly sunroof, not sure if anyone makes poly sunroofs. not so sure about the rest.
