Recommended Posts

Guest Pugw0t

As some of you know i recently had some fire problems in the 205 and basically the pull down clip for the suroof vaccum has completeley melted off along with the vacume seal that goes arround the glass, although it is a track car i would like to keep my belovid sunroof. Is this at all possible to fix with the new parts or am i wasting my time.

Thanks

It is. Almost all parts for sunroof assembly are still available, and not too expensive. At least, where I live.

Source a 2nd hand sunroof- spread a dust sheet in the car, fetch large hammer!. Or- cut melted seal around underside of glass. Hacksaw handle to get access to screws (as other post) should slide. I would imagine that the low price of a glass panel from a breaker's would make this too much hassle . Smash it!
