Gibbo GTI 0 Posted October 3, 2006 Just been to the Peugeot dealer in St. Andrews for a rear silencer for my 205 1.9 GTI and the part number they have ordered is 172634. On the parts cd I have this comes up as for an XU9J1 engine. I thought I had an XU9JA engine which I assume from the parts cd would be part number 172650. Anthony 1,003 Posted October 3, 2006 I would have said that they've ordered the wrong part (although should fit fine) and that you're correct in thinking that they should have ordered 172650 If you don't mind me asking, how much is a genuine backbox? Gibbo GTI 0 Posted October 5, 2006 (edited) I've fitted the exhaust and it was a perfect fit The car is soooo much quieter it is a a pleasure to drive where I live without everyone staring at me due to the stupid big bore that was on it when i bought the car.
