pugpete1108 62 1 Cars Posted October 1, 2006 just looked at my 6 and noticed it has a coil on each plug ,is that right?. with two low voltage cables feeding it , do i keep these for the emerald ecu or go for a wasted spark set-up using normal ht leads and ford coil? just checked the emerald manual and it doesn't really state wether you can fire plugs sequentially , but surely if the gti-6 was designed to do this then using wasted spark will see a drop in power/performance? pugpete1108 62 1 Cars Posted October 1, 2006 dont see how you would get a drop in performance using wasted spark?? thats cool then , just checking . i take it i could use the original coils and just wire 1&4 cylinders and 2&3 cylinders and connect to the corresponding ecu drivers?
