Adnic69 0 Posted September 29, 2006 After a year and a half off the road the pug is all back together and ready for it's MOT. I went for a quick drive to see if all was ok, it seems fine. I cant believe how good it feels. I thought that after the Elise it would seel soft and not as urgent. It does not feel loads slower at all and feels taught and nimble. I had forgotten just how good it was. The alcon brakes will be unreal when bedded in! I will upload pics once mot'd and on the road. My question is, if the spare tyre is bald is that a fail or is it just the tyres on the car? Will they compensate for new pads?
Jonmurgie 2 Posted September 29, 2006 Bald spare is a fail, just remove it as you don't NEED a spare for the MoT... pads should be OK as they will see they are new

steve@cornwall 100 Posted September 29, 2006 agreed, the spare is not a tested item. But if you get pulled with it it's possible you'll get nicked, something the Officer said to me about "intent to use"
