boldy205 75 Posted September 28, 2006 has anyone had experiance of the dizzy converters of the MI16 to run 8v ignition? (its going to be running on carbs so not the 8 v injection) Shenpar have two available, one 'longman' style at £125 ish +VAT which is direct fit. one that is about £40 but i will need to drill and tapp two bolt holes in the head (i think) to bolt it on. i have also seen spooks do one not sure what its about? any ideas anyone? does enyone have spooks web address? have tried searching on google but all it comes up with is pages about the afterlife type spooks!! chears Matt. Daz_C 8 1 Cars Posted September 28, 2006 SBC do one also. It slides over and bolts to the end of the cam, and you utilies the 8v thermostat housing to sit the dizzy on. Pretty straight forward fitment and IMO alot tidier than having a big block of aluminium stuck on the end of the head. I think its around £40 +vat. And no they don't have a website Just a phone 01829720492.
