pugpete1108 62 1 Cars Posted September 21, 2006 i have been told the std gti6 manifold will not fit in a 205 , is this right.? if not what alternatives do i have? i have also been told xsi maybe will? i wish it would fit though as it looks really sweet compared to the crap*y cast jobbies
16v205 9 Posted September 21, 2006 It fitted fine in my car. Only little issue was the gear selector rods needed to be persuaded to miss the manifold where the downpipe joins. As for clearance is sits perfectly in the centre of the tunnel and hasnt touched the car. Rich
welshpug 1,666 Posted September 21, 2006 it'll fit if you also have a gti6 engine... Later XSi has the same port and stud spacing, the crappy cast jobbie is good for 160 odd anyway. alternatives? Magnex, maniflow or a custom made one.
Dixon 1 Posted September 21, 2006 (edited) On what engine? Just about fits with the 6 engine with a bit of bulk head movement. Edited September 21, 2006 by Dixon
