pugpete1108 62 1 Cars Posted September 20, 2006 i have been looking for a manual for my gti6 and it seems that haynes never made one , it which case where can you get tourque figures and stuff , for things like changing head gaskets etc.? is there a manual out there not mafde by haynes? a bit stumped really Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
welshpug 1,657 Posted September 20, 2006 unfortunatley not, though seeing as the GTi6 engien is pretty much identicla bar the manifilds cams and managament to the XSi engine I guess most of the torque settings would apply. Its the only area thats specific to the car bar the gearbox but thats just a BE4/6 which is identical to a BE3/5 bar the extra cog inside and the longer endcasing, and the reverse stop cable.
