Oil Pressure Gauge Test - At Dash

Hi,

 

posted this here as although I've transplanted Mi16 into 1.6 (F plate) GTi, all I need to do is test that the oil pressure gauge itself works at the dash end. So I could be doing this if the car was standard and I just wanted to check whether I needed to replace the sender or the gauge or there was a wiring issue.

 

Enough bluffing : on the 1.6GTi binnacle, which from the driver's seat point of view, looking forward left to right there are 4 plugs - yellow/blue/green/white.

 

Could someone help me locate the plug and the pin on it such that I can touch that to earth to get a max reading on the oil pressure dial, proving that it works or doesn't.

Sorted, by Jon Pugrallye actually - neither components at fault. Broken wire.
