jimbean 0 Posted September 15, 2006 come on... a 306 rallye is is a gti6 without electric 406 hdi 110/ 406 2.016v 307 hdi 110 xantia 110 hdi and 2.0 16v but has hand brake on front all these callipers wre the same size as the gti6
willxs 0 Posted September 15, 2006 same size, but not the same shape.... if your including the yokes
smighall 1 Posted September 15, 2006 Only other car to have the same brakes was the Xsara VTS. The 307 HDI brakes have a slightly smaller piston IIRC. I think they are the same size as on some 406's but the yokes are different.
mi16nut 0 Posted September 16, 2006 The 307 HDi are designed to work with 26mm thick discs, not 21mm as on the GTi6. They have smaller pistons too; 54mm against 56 or 57mm I think, so tend to work better with standard 205 master-cylinders. Mark.

Theres loads of 57mm Lucas callipers at my local breakers and would be nice to get some if I only need the 307 yokes. You can see the 406 discs wont fit as the hub is almost flush with the disc. Try getting cheap 306 yokes though.
