PugAddict 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Quick Question......... What distributor is needed for a 1990 205 GTi with a 1.6 head and a 1.9 bottom end? Would the dizzy from a 1988 1.9 GTi do the trick? welshpug 1,657 Posted September 14, 2006 the heads are identical pretty much, mechanically the dizzys are also identical IIRC bar the cap (up to mid 88/88on) though 1.6-1.9 dizzys have a different curve. have you swapped the 1.9 cam over? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
