Crankcase Breather Pipe (main Oil Filler Pipe)

Can anybody suggest a cheaper option than the stealer quoted price of £50 for this part? Does anybody else stock them or am i just going to have to put up with the old one or take out a mortgage for one from peugeot?

I got one from the local scrappies. I think it was from a 405 as a lot of the PSA engines share the same pipe - cost £2 I think...

I would suggest trying a scrappy or Autofive, GSF or another similar online spares place? Anywhere would be cheaper than Peugeot

Peugeot only and to my knowledge only a Peugeot part due to the low number's of these engines made, Not even the 8v one has had a pattern pipe made.

The only other pipe that may fit is the 8v 405, Just a idea so maybe completly wrong here

ive noticed a lot of wanteds on this breather pipe... would it not be possible for somebody to sort out a group buy on breathers? maybe samco style but obviously oil resistant... just a thought as i could do with one too... unless citroen have mine in stock sooner!

Is this the pipe that runs from the top of the oil filler to the right of the oil filter?

The dealers want the equivalent of about 150 GBP for them here. I tried making a cheap(er) replacement up with brass hose fittings and a T-joint, but it was too bulky and the hose wouldn't bend enough.
