brianthemagical 1 Posted September 7, 2006 are the power steering and non-power steering engines the same? is it just a case of bolting the power steering system on and putting on a new alternator belt? thanks

brianthemagical 1 Posted September 7, 2006 are the alternators interchangable? is it just a case of changing over that ajuster bracket. thanks for the help.
Rob_the_Sparky 9 Posted September 7, 2006 Yep, the mounting bracket places the alternator higher to clear the pump. Probably needs the chunk on the block plus the adjuster. Not sure how hte pump mounts to the block though, not had a power steering one in enough pieces! Rob

Rob_the_Sparky 9 Posted September 7, 2006 Well if you have a power steering set-up then you can buy any engine and swap it all across, there is no difference in the engine itself.
