309 Deisel Parts For A 205 Mi16 Conversion?

hi , we are in the middle of a conversion of our 205 gti to a 1.9 mi16 engine , however we have the chance of getting hold of a pair of front wishbones and driveshafts from an E reg 309 deisel and a rear beam from the same car , would this be compatable with our 205 mi conversion , the aim is to widen the footprint of the car , or would we have to source parts from a 309 gti ??? cheers les

you have to source gti stuff. the base model/diesel stuff wont fit on the front, and the torsion bars in the rear beam are as pathetic as a base model 205's

Unless its a turbo D in which case it has the GTI wishbones and driveshafts you need (and maybe GTI ARB too)
