Rippthrough 98 Posted September 4, 2006 (edited) Has anybody had Gaz shock for a while?. How long do they stay nice and shiney or do they corrode instantly on contact with British weather!!!. Mine are still perfect after 2 months - including a few weeks at the coast in the salty air. I did give the body a coat of wax before fitting though. -Phillip Edited September 4, 2006 by Rippthrough

Rippthrough 98 Posted September 5, 2006 (edited) havent checked mine tbh, but the twiddly adjuster at the top of the front shocks have corroded, they did so within days I coated mine with a thin copper grease, not had a problem. If you're getting some I would spec 10-15% more on the compression damping though (15% low and 10% high speed if they will be that specific), as they are still a little soft on the compression side. -Phillip Edited September 5, 2006 by Rippthrough
vern 0 Posted September 6, 2006 Thanks for replies. So overall they seem to stay shiney for a while just protect thread on adjusters.
