Anyone With Gaz Shocks?

Has anybody had Gaz shock for a while?. How long do they stay nice and shiney or do they corrode instantly on contact with British weather!!!.

Mine are still perfect after 2 months - including a few weeks at the coast in the salty air. I did give the body a coat of wax before fitting though.

havent checked mine tbh, but the twiddly adjuster at the top of the front shocks have corroded, they did so within days

I coated mine with a thin copper grease, not had a problem.

 

If you're getting some I would spec 10-15% more on the compression damping though (15% low and 10% high speed if they will be that specific), as they are still a little soft on the compression side.

Thanks for replies.

So overall they seem to stay shiney for a while just protect thread on adjusters.
