Guest TSL 333 Posted September 3, 2006 Just fitted ny new radiator which was alot easier than what I had anticipated. All bolts were seriosuly seized at 18 years old so I replaced them all. Car is now running sweetly and there are no leaks. That said, I could not re-attach the top radiator clips and as a result, the radiator seems a little loose at the top, as if nothing is really restraining it. How do these clips go on? I did not really pay much attention to the removal. The clips were not removed from the cooling fan section at all when I removed the radiator. A photo would be ideal. Thanks in advance. pug309twin40s 1 Posted September 3, 2006 the top clips lift up and sit in the slot along the top of the radiator to stop the radiator moving. there should be a black rubber piece that sits in the groove on the radiator then the spring sits on this.
