Guest hearnsy Posted August 31, 2006 Just bought another 205 GTI and and on closer inspection I found there is a brown multiplug tie wrapped to one of the battery terminals but not actually connected to anthing. jim21070 2 Posted August 31, 2006 Usually that is your cooling fan test socket. If you short two of the three connections your fans will spin. Short it one way and you'll spin at half speed and short it the other and they'll spin at full speed.. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
