My mate has been messing about with the mixture setting on my 205 GTi 1.6 He has been playing with the allen key one on the air flow meter, the big flat head screwdriver one on the inlet and the tickover speed setting, now the dam thing wont start at all! anyone give me some clues as to how many turns out each one should be so i can get my car running well enough to get it to a garage? ashley peddle 3 Posted August 30, 2006 if you set them both at about half then it should be ok? get it on a gas analyser to set up the mixture properly... idol screw just has to be turned so that the revs stay ay 1000 rpm (ish - maybe a bit less?) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
