Which Brake Setup Fits 205 1.9 Hubs?

Recommended Posts

paul wicks

Time for some better brakes, as they they only just got through the MOT last time, so which of these models will the discs and calipers fit straight onto 1.9 205 hubs??

206 GTi (the 137bhp) version

206 180 - are these a straight swap??

306 GTI-6 - are they a straight swap

307 which models will fit straight on.

Any others I should consider, I know about Willwoods but these are too expenisve after just buying a house.

all of them IIRC, but it depends on your choice of wheel too,

406 estate caliper with 306gti6 discs work.

i have 306 xsi calipers - with 266 disks.

its only a little upgrade but that coupled with new disks / pads all round and a new master cylinder was amazing :P

206 gti 180 and 307 2.0 hdi (should be on all models bigger than 1.6litre too) are essentially the same they just use different pad material, and possibly different discs i cant remember

They are both a straight swap however, and well worth the money in my opinion

These are the biggest brakes that will fit under the 15" Speedlines without mods.
