Edp 67 3 Cars Posted August 28, 2006 Anyone had any problems with the centre box hitting the rear footwells underneath? Mine basically sits on it and vibrates through the car. It also hits things when driving like steep humps and driveways. The cars only lowered 25mm?! I'm using a standard downpipe and its fitted to an Mi with the manifold welded at the correct angle. Mongo 0 Posted August 29, 2006 Its a case of trial and error, it originally done it when i had it fitted with manifold, i got it re-fitted shortly after and it was fine for a while. huxley309 0 Posted August 30, 2006 (edited) a stiffer lower mount is essential as magnex at least recomended it themselves scorpions have the same issue, best way is to take the centre mount under the car, heat him up with an oxy acetalene torch and bend it downwards this will make the rubber mount want to keep it away from the floor of the car a fiver at your local kwikfit should sort it out easily enough Edited August 30, 2006 by huxley309 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
