Kms Coilpack Ignition Lead Sizing

Does anyone know if the KMS coilpack pictured here is a standard coilpack size ? Is there such a think as a standard size ? I'm looking to get the spec so I can order some custom magnecor leads

Err, using the ol' eyecrometer they look about the same size as mine which came from a V6 Vauxhall of some kind, and mine are the same as Stu's which came from a 106 I think.

 

Guess that the real oddball ones aside, they're all pretty much the same.

Vauxhall Ecotec's fit but its an Audi fitment coilpack (1.6 8v but covers a large range of engine codes).

The KMS coil is used by Volkswagen, you can use sparkplug cables of almost

any volkswagen.

On Magnecore's web site, you just download the spec file, fill in your details, ie dimensions of coil pack outer and inner diameters of ends, length of No1 - No4 leads etc etc. Even email them a photo of the coil pack.

 

Go for the KV85, the top of the range leads are not worth it, KV85 are spot on.

 

My custom leads were less than £50 from Magnecore, I was pleasently surprised.

yep just doing that, just needed the coilpack details before i could fill in the form
