1.6 Gti Wheels On A 405 Diesel Estate

Friend of mine has said 405 estate, and saw my spare set of 1.6 wheels in my shed and wanted to know if theyd fit. couldn't be bothered trying them out as it would have meant moving cars out of the garage etc etc which would be more hassle than it's worth, but eyeing them up he liked the idea of a set.

 

So yeah. basically will they fit? It's an M reg 405 diesel estate.

 

Anyone have a pic of saidf car/wheel match too? just out of curiosity.

They fit. I think they actually look quite good.

yeah I think they look better on that car than the 1.9's or Mi16's. If I've got the time tomorrow I'll see if I can't put them on his car for a look.
