markw 1 Posted August 19, 2006 hi just wondering what size master cylinders you guys are using mine is standard (and old) and i dont like the long pedal travel (on a 205 1.9) since fitting the gti 6 brakes
Jonmurgie 2 Posted August 19, 2006 I think i does vary a little but if your not liking the 205 MC then you want to get the 406 MC... try a search and you will find some info on it
smckeown 1 Posted August 19, 2006 i put the 23.8mm M/C with gavs car and the brakes are spot on. Nice and firm pedal.

Phil 0 Posted August 21, 2006 406 cast iron non abs M/C on mine, works a treat
Matt Holley 11 Posted August 26, 2006 406 cast iron non abs M/C on mine, works a treat Did you have to adjust the rod on that to stop to brakes binding or is a straight swap? I fitted a set of gti6 calipers today and Im sure the pedal is longer on this one than my last 205 with the same set up (still using original mc) and would like to get the pedal back to normal.
